Stress Tool

‘Providing interactive stress support when it is most needed’

7) Emotional Benefit tool

The Emotional Benefit tool lets the individual end-user see the tangible benefits, ‘in their own words’, of using the EOSS stress training system. This tool highlights the benefits of using the EOSS stress tools as opposed to not using the EOSS stress tools.

More on how it works

It asks the user to choose between two options. Option one is to do nothing and let their stressed state follow its natural course. Option two asks the user to try and alleviate their stressful mood through one of the EOSS stress tools. The EOSS then prompts the end-user to rate their level of stress 4 minutes after both options. After the user has rated their stress levels for a second time the EOSS displays a summary of their average stress levels after choosing each option. It also determines the average percentage improvement in stress levels after each option. If the EOSS stress tools are helping the individual to improve their stress handling abilities this should be clearly communicated to the user
